White Card QLD course

Course details

The White Card course is also known as general construction induction training, and has been introduced by the Government to reduce the number of injuries and fatalities in the construction industry.

The Queensland White Card course covers best practices that should be followed while working on a construction site to recude and eliminate risks to yoursself and others. The training will cover basic health and safety and personal protective equipment used on construction sites.

The course is deliverd by Tradie Training.

We can arrange group bookings and onsite training for organisations.

Pre-requisites

Tradie Training is not registered with CRICOS and as such we cannot conduct training and assessment for international students (Visa subclass 500).

While the White Card course caters to users of all levels of experience (or no experience), hcontains written and verbal English is required and used in questions, videos, images and other learning material.

There is no age requirement to obtain a Queensland White Card.

You will need to bring your Unique Student Identifier (USI) to the workshop.

Training Program

The White Card Queensland course covers the topics required to demonstrate the knowledge and skills to work safely in the construction industry. It is a basic entry level course covering personal awareness, basic risk management, hazard identification, emergencies and personal protective equipment (PPE).

Learners must bring 3 forms of identification from this list.

Assessment

After the training, each learner will be assessed to ensure that they have the knowledge and skill required by the unit of competency.

Learners are offered multiple opportunities to demonstrate knowledge and skills throughout the program. A qualified trainer and assessor is available onsite to assis learners that need extra help.

If a learner is not successful in completing the training and assessment, they will be offered to re-schedule their course or issued a full refund.

Certification

Upon successful completion of the course, learners will be issued with a nationally recognised Queensland White Card issued by WorkSafe Queensland as well as a Statement of Attainment for the accredited unit of competency CPCCWHS1001 - Prepare to work safely in the construction industry .

Certificates are issued by Tradie Training (RTO 45555).
